On the 6th of December I cracked open a can of Christmas goodness. The only one of the Christmas beers I've sat aside for my Beer-y advent calendar to come in a can.
December 6th
Winter Solstice Seasonal Ale by Anderson Valley Brewing Company
This beer has a fantastic mouthfeel and complexity without being overdone. I'm getting a lot of malt, some cinnamon, a bit of caramel and a sweet finish that leaves me ready for another drink.
Besides coming in a can, which is awesome, my other favorite thing about Anderson Valley is their logo, which is part bear, part deer, which gives you a beer! And as a fan of corny jokes, I think it's brilliant!
Cheers!
